The Brand

Unique jewellery, handmade
with passion & devotion

Leoma is a British Jewellery designer based in the beautiful county of Herefordshire.
Each piece is handmade by Leoma, enabling flexibility in her designs and often creates bespoke pieces. Leoma creates pieces for three main collections; Kimana, Wing and Kindred, and a fourth collection Precious; where pieces from other collections take on a new life; using gold, platinum and very precious stones like diamonds and sapphires to create extra special pieces to be cherished for a lifetime and passed on as future heirlooms.
We worked closely with Leoma to create a brand identity that was as considered and thoughtful as her pieces, reflecting the true craftsmanship of her work.

Where We Helped

BRAND IDENTITY - website design - STATIONERY - packaging - photography

We used an elegant logo typeface to evoke a luxuriously chic, elevated design.
The colour palette chosen was predominantly black & gold - a timeless, classic combination and height of sophistication. We added accents of turquoise and fiery orange, colours that are often found within the rare stones that leoma works with.

Drawing from nature, Leoma’s work is inspired by butterfly & bird wing shape and form. We too wanted to explore this unique style & approach, we studied her three-dimensional designs of various rings & cuffs, and re-worked these into into flat, two-dimensional patterns, which we then could apply to the website, print & digital.
One of our most successful uses of this pattern was to apply a satin gold foil finish on to luxury ebony coloured paper stock to create box wraps that would be bound around jewellery boxes, as a truly bespoke, luxury packaging solution. I love the playfulness of this idea; we took a three-dimensional jewellery design pattern, re-drew it so it was a flat two dimensional pattern, and then applied this to a wrap that we put around a three dimensional object, it is very special and completely unique.

As part of her branding suite, we provided the initial mood boards for her photography, this was then later added to and developed by Leoma & Lydia Harper. We helped style and direct the shoot which took place in a gorgeously un-finished grand home in Wales.

Creating Leoma’s website was a celebration of everything we had created up to that point. It became a place where we could marry the elements of the branding with the stunning photography. The purpose of the website is to showcase Leoma’s sensational work, her expertise for design & craft, whilst seducing the customer into very tempting purchases!

Kind Words…

I have followed Sophie for some time and absolutely loved the way she interprets other brands. When I was ready for rebranding, I knew I wanted to use Sophie. I feel that she really understood my collections and brought them together to create a brand that identified myself in a unique way. Sophie encouraged my input but also taught me a lot in the process. I was overwhelmed with Sophie’s support and encouragement. She went above and beyond with all the finishing touches. I am so proud of my new website & branding. This has been such a great experience and I look forward to working with her again.
