Williams Handmade is where bespoke craftsmanship meets modern design. We mix fresh colour palettes and time-honoured skills to make outstanding leather goods. Sarah, who founded the business is an incredibly talented and skilled designer, she has won notable awards for her designs, held exhibitions at prestigious events and some gorgeous collaborations with other creative businesses.
Sarah also holds workshops in her Herefordshire studio offering a range of short courses, taking time to learn your own leather skills. Working slowly by hand, using hand tools in each stage of the process. Sarah is a wonderful teacher; patient, generous and full of wonderful ideas and encouragement.
Sarah has won Accessories Collection of the Year at ITS#NINE, The Accessory Award from Absolute Vodka and exhibited at the V&A Museum’s Power of Craft exhibition. In 2013 her work was shortlisted for the Ketel One Modern Craftsman Award and she was selected as one of Selfridges ‘Bright Young Things’ with her very own window display

Where We Helped
BRAND IDENTITY - STATIONERY - website designI cannot tell you how much of a joy it was to work with Sarah on her branding, website and stationery. Sarah is one of the most talented people I know, as well as being so genuinely lovely. Her brand was in need of a complete refresh and it was such fun to work on.
We were instantly inspired by Sarah’s process, how she worked, we loved looking through all her designs and the patterns she makes to cut out her leather, these patterns and shapes heavily influenced the illustration and pattern we created for Sarah. We had so much fun bringing these patterns to life in both print and digital.
The colour palette was heavily influenced by the coloured leathers Sarah loves to work with, we wanted a range of colours that could work seasonally - Spring & Summer, Autumn & Winter.
Sarah had an existing website, built using a complicated Content Management System that really was not serving her, she wasn’t able to make edits herself and not happy with the overall design & feel. We designed and built a brand new website for Sarah, we built the site in a way that Sarah can easily mange herself; allowing her to manage her shop and track her sales, making edits herself.

Sophie completely re-branded my businesses and designed a built a whole new website. I was really nervous at first to make any changes but knew it was needed and Sophie made the whole experience a joy. Sophie gave me various initial ideas to choose from and then she developed my favourite ideas into a full branding package, covering all aspects of the business (socials, packaging, leaflets, physical signs), which went across to a new website too.
Implementing Sophie’s branding and website has had a massively positive impact on my business and an increase in sales. I would not hesitate to recommend Sophie to any small business, she is extremely professional, excellent at what she does and a lovely person to work with.
