AI Policy

I believe in being open about how I work, so here is how artificial intelligence does and does not feature in my studio.

How I use AI

I use AI tools in a limited, behind-the-scenes way, only for research and writing. That might mean gathering background for a project or drafting written content. Anything AI helps me with is reviewed and refined by me before it ever reaches you.

My design is always human-made

None of my design work is produced by AI. Every brand identity, website, illustration, and piece of packaging I create is made by hand, through my own craft, judgement, and creative direction. AI is never used to generate concepts, artwork, or any visual deliverable.

Protecting your information

I take the security of your information seriously. I do not input personal or confidential client details, such as your name, address, financial information, or sensitive business information, into any AI tool unless that tool meets a confirmed data protection standard, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

A note for clients

To protect both your brand and my work, I ask that clients do not upload any of my design development or deliverables into AI tools. Many platforms keep and reuse whatever is submitted, which can create copyright and quality issues for us both. The full terms around this are set out in your signed project agreement, which governs all work I produce for you.

If you ever have a question about how I use AI, please just ask. I am always happy to talk it through.
